As students from Democritus University of Thrace in Greece participated in the IAAC in previous years, I would like to inform you that the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition 2026 has recently started.

This year’s awards include telescopes signed by astronaut Frank De Winne and Nobel Prize laureates Francois Englert, Gerard ‘t Hooft, Michel Mayor, and Didier Queloz.

I kindly ask for your support in sharing this opportunity with interested students and within your school. If students would like to participate in this year’s edition, they need to submit their entries by Friday, 17 April 2026.
