The Laboratory of Pharmacology belongs to the Functional-Clinical Laboratory Sector of the Faculty of Medicine at the Democritus University of Thrace.
It is engaged in the teaching of Pharmacology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and provides clinical services at the University General Hospital of Alexandroupolis through the Laboratory of Clinical Pharmacology.
Furthermore, its research work focuses on modern fields of pharmacology, molecular pharmacology, pharmacogenetics, and immunopharmacology.
