The duration of the undergraduate programme is 12 semesters and students have to accumulate 360 ECTS equally alocated. The curriculum consists of 60 obligatory and 14/59 electives courses. During the final year, students will be having a full-time supervised clinical training at the University General Hospital of Alexandroupolis. Upon successful completion, the students receive the Medical Degree (Ptychio), which is in accordance with the EU Directive 2005/36/E and gives them access to postgraduate studies (Masters), Doctorate in Medical Science (Doctorate Diplomas) and a licence to practice the medical profession in the Public and Private Sector.
