The Democritus University of Thrace offers interested researchers the opportunity to conduct postdoctoral research in the academic fields it covers. Postdoctoral research is an original scientific project, in the sense that it must contribute to its field by producing new knowledge. Researchers who successfully complete their postdoctoral work are awarded a relevant certificate, which does not constitute an academic degree.
