In order to ensure, through an appropriate management mechanism, the improvement of the quality of services provided by the Academic Departments of Democritus University of Thrace to all students, procedures have been established that provide reliable, systematic, and continuously improving, impartial recording and handling of any malfunctions that students may encounter during their studies. Therefore, students have the right to submit complaints or appeals regarding any problems or in relation to the services provided.
The student complaint and objections management policy is addressed to all active students in the three cycles of study at the University’s Academic Departments. Before submitting a complaint or objection, students must study the Study Guides, the general and specific Regulations of the Study Programmes in which they are enrolled, as well as the Internal Rules and Regulations of the University, in order to understand their rights and obligations.
The Student Complaints and Objections Management Rules and Regulations (SCOMRR) aims to ensure, through an appropriate management mechanism, the improvement of the quality of services provided by the Academic Departments of DUTH to all students participating in its Study Programmes. The SCOMRR establishes and defines procedures for the reliable, systematic, and continuously improving, impartial recording and handling of malfunctions that students encounter during their studies.
